Dr. Samuel Olusayo Akinkuolie

Dr. Akinkuolie Samuel is the son of the founder of Christ’s Overflowing Anointing Church. He is a teacher, speaker and astute scholar. He was raised in a home that is consistent with what is obtainable in a family that is sold out to God. He was born into a family already devoted to following after God and had no other option; not by compulsion but by emulation of exemplary lifestyles of his parents who truly panted and still do pant after God. This redefined what purpose meant for him as he grew, understanding that man does not live unto himself but is truly sourced in the one who is responsible for his existence as stated in 2 Corinthians 5:15 and Acts 17:28. The above verses guided him and neutralized the tendencies for negative peer influence coupled with the spiritual enabling environment his parents had provided.

He has a penchant for knowledge and this is evident in years of commitment to academic pursuits. After a secondary education he proceeded to obtaining a degree in Biochemistry. He went further into postgraduate studies and was awarded a master’s degree in Environmental Science. A couple of years later, he kept studying and was awarded a Doctor of Science degree in the same discipline. Dr. Samuel besides academics has developed innate proclivities; such as writing and painting. However, a predominant one is a strong inherent inclination towards music. He was taught the piano as a young boy by his father. This became a great platform that opened him up to the world of music. His love for gospel music made him a choir director at a young age. Today he is the music director and a Deacon in Christ’s Overflowing Anointing Church.

He has a passion to reach out to the youths of his generation; so as to make them understand the need to have their lives anchored to the giver of life himself. The love for God and his mandate is a truth that keeps him going strong. He is happily married and his life is only a proof of God’s glory.
